EVERY PIECE HAND-MADE / HAND-FINISHED BY MASTER CRAFTSMEN Barossa Furnishings are a leading manufacturer
and retailer of fine hand-crafted hard wood furniture made at our own workshops in Singapore by a team of Master
Cabinet Makers. Whilst we specialise in furniture for the bedroom and dining room, we custom make furniture for all areas of
the home. We believe that quality furniture should be accompanied by beautiful accent pieces in the home and our range of accessories and lifestyle products grace any residence. For many years, we have carried beautiful sculpture from Zimbabwe, quality Singapore Art and fine Asian Antiques.
CUSTOM MADE IN SINGAPORE We offer a full custom furniture making service working mainly with 'European Quality' Grade A Burmese Teak Wood. All our timber is personally selected by us and is both seasoned and kiln dried under our direct management and control. Our team of craftsmen at our Singapore workshops are highly conversant with traditional and modern designs with all our items hand-made to specification and essentially, if it is wood, we can make it. SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS LEAD TIME Our lead time for manufacture from order is generally around six
to eight weeks dependant upon the complexity of a particular piece, however we offer a fast track four week service where
there is a specific need or urgency. Once an order is confirmed, it is our policy to provide our clients with a detailed
drawing of the specific item being made whcicch is alo the blue print which our cabinet makers will follow. We are unique
in that we have a master carver at our workshop who is more than willing to add feature carving to a design where required.
WORKING WITH OUR CLIENTS TO MAKE THAT PERFECT PIECE We take the view at Barossa that a custom made furniture item is a partnership process and as such we work very closely with our clients throughout the production stages. With our local manufacture, we are able to offer not just design, but options on the wood colour, wood finish and varnish. Once we commence with an order, sketches are prepared of each item to be made to act as both a record and for our workshop as the basic blueprint to work from. Regular updates are provided on manufacturing process and on completion, our team will deliver
and install in Singapore with instructions given on the necessary joining technique. OUR SERVICESWe could write many paragraphs on our services, but put quite simply, if
